This hair needle, or accus crinalis, is made up of a straight rod with a decrease, narrowing at its end in order to better light the hair. In some cases this type of needle also served to light clothes.
In the Castro de Viladonga, which is where the original is found, these types of finds are frequent, the original, like our replica, is made of cast bronze. The primary piece has been made of wax.
The pins from this period have an ornament on the head, although the decoration and adornment are simple.
