The Corinthian helmet, originally from ancient Greece, is named for the area where it was found. The hoplites (citizen soldiers of ancient Greece) wore this type of helmet that was handcrafted by the goldsmiths of the time, made of bronze.
The usability of this type of helmet was mainly protection but also something important in a battle, to impose fear and hostility on the enemy.
