These earrings are crafted with a faithful reproduction of the pomegranate-shaped beads that decorate an Etruscan necklace from the 1st–3rd century BC, preserved in the Gregorian Etruscan Museum of the Vatican.
Although there is no archaeological evidence of earrings with this exact shape, we have created this jewel from the same elements, maintaining the symbolism and aesthetics characteristic of Etruscan goldsmithing.
The pomegranate was a widely used motif by the Etruscans, associated with fertility, abundance, and eternal life. With these earrings we offer a contemporary creation inspired by ancient art, preserving intact the symbolic character of its original models.
Piece made of yellow bronze with gold-colored steel hooks. *Solid earring, weight: 6.5 g*
